5 cute Airbnb's in Orlando
I'm currently pouring over listings on Airbnb for an upcoming trip to a new city and it made me wonder if people do the same when planning a trip to Orlando. Or do they just rely on the hundreds of hotels our hospitality driven city offers. What became clear as I searched for Orlando Airbnb's (besides the fact that alot of people need to learn how to stage a room and take better pictures), is that many of the options are near the attractions, catering to out-of-town tourists. However there were a few that are located closer to the downtown area that looked desirable enough to suggest to friends who may want to explore our neighborhoods and support our local businesses.
Whether you are looking for a low-key staycation or you need options for friends you cannot host yourself, Airbnb can be a great alternative to area hotels that are often more pricey because they are located in desirable areas. I've had good experiences thus far in other cities, like in Nashville where we spent half of what we would have on a hotel in the downtown area, and instead got to enjoy a charming local neighborhood.
While Orlando might not have exciting listings like the Seashell house in Mexico or the secluded treehouse in Atlanta, there are still some sensible and affordable options to leisure like a local.
1. Tiny Living
Ever wonder if you could deal with living in a real tiny house? This particular tiny home has been featured on HGTV and somehow accommodates five! Whether or not you are still friends after a sleepover here remains to be seen.

While this listing is not located near downtown but closer to Universal, it could be an ideal spot for those driving from out-of-town for a day at the parks who don't want to endure the long, late night drive home. It accommodates six so it could easily fit a full family or a few friends that want to split the rate.
If I didn't live 5 minutes away, I'd definitely book this adorable private cottage for an overnight stay. This fresh and airy space is near walk-able neighborhoods and guests get access to bicycles to see the city and burn calories from all the satisfying foodie options nearby. It has a five-star rating while being nestled in a five-star neighborhood in Orlando.

You don't need a lot of living space if you want to stay Downtown since there is plenty of strolling and eating to be doing. This cute apartment is only a 7-minute walk from the SunRail station so you can hop on and take a ride to Park Avenue for more local sightseeing. With 29 reviews and a 4.5 star rating this seems to be a safe and cozy bet.

Feel as fancy as a Winter Park resident without the property taxes. This private mother-in-law suite has interior comforts as well as outdoor amenities. Relax and enjoy a sunset on Lake Spier while being located within walking or quick driving distance both to Baldwin Park and Audubon Park. That backyard Hammock could seal the deal.
